Pricing for Financial Planning Services
Our Fee Schedule
A Simple Fee Structure
Cornerstone has a simple fee structure.
- A single, one-time fee for creating a plan for you.
- A fee for investments we manage for you.
Financial Planning Fee
Cornerstone offers a menu of financial planning services. Planning fees start at $4,900 and increase based on the complexity of work required.
To determine what your cost would be, we offer an initial complimentary meeting. Following this meeting, Cornerstone will quote a specific fee.

FAQs On How We Get Paid
Q. Who is the best fit for the services Cornerstone provides and fees you charge?
A. Couples and individuals who:
- Are age 50 and older
- Have investable assets of $1 million or greater, or who are on a path that will get them there in the future.
- Are professionals, business owners, “sudden money” recipients, or retirees
- Wish to explore a variety of financial scenarios
Q. What is the range of planning services offered under the financial planning fee?
Q. When are financial planning fees due?
A. Twenty-five percent (25%) of the planning fees are due at the start of the plan. The balance (75%) is due either when the final plan and recommendations are delivered or 90 days from the beginning of planning work, whichever occurs first.
Q. What methods of payment do you accept?
A. Personal check, business check, PayPal, or Zelle. Cash payment is not permitted.
Q. Can I get assistance with investment management only and not financial planning?
A. Yes. Although nearly all clients start our work together with a financial plan, we have some clients where a plan may not be necessary. In these cases, Cornerstone will still need to understand your financial circumstances to give suitable investment advice. But a plan is not required for all engagements.
Q. Can I get assistance with a financial plan only and not investment management?
A. No. We only work with couples and individuals for the long term, not transactionally.
Q. How many clients do you work with?
A. Cornerstone is committed to working with no greater than 100 households. Studies have shown that each advisor can work with no more than 150 families before the advisor begins losing touch with the people they serve. With two lead planners at Cornerstone, at 100 households, we would be at less than one-third of that tipping point. This “fewer is better” policy is how we can offer highly personal, timely advice to clients we serve.
